Braxton Brewing Offers Refund For Small Amount Of Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout With Faulty Can Seaming

imageFrom Braxton:

We pride ourselves on the quality of product we produce and package. In our most recent shipment of Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, it has come to our attention that there is an issue with the seam of some of our cans. This was an intermittent mechanical issue on any Graeter’s cans dated up to 02/03/2017.

From our Co-Founder & COO Evan:

“There is a very good chance that your cans are within specification of a properly seamed canned, as this was an intermittent issue with the seaming head on our canning line.  In total of multiple canning runs, only a very small portion of the dates are in question.”

If you have any unopened cans that appear to be leaking, we will be happy to replace them. No questions asked. These replacement cans will be available beginning on Sunday, February 12th and are eligible to be replaced with new packaged product until Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

Please fill out the information below so that we can be sure to hold the proper amount of cans for you.

This does not appear to be a widespread issue and we encourage you to enjoy your Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout fresh! Below, our Co-Founder & CEO, Jake, provides an update on the project in general.

A Graeter’s Update:

Thank you! This project has far exceeded our wildest expectations. We sold out of 250 cases in the taproom on Friday and almost just as fast at our retail partners in Dayton, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Lexington and Louisville. Not in our wildest dreams did we expect this kind of demand for this awesome collaboration.

So what now?

Well, we’ve got one more batch fermenting and another batch scheduled to be brewed this week. You’ll see cans become available once again in our distribution footprint next week and one more batch before the end of February. We will do our best to keep you posted on where these are sent.

Be on the lookout for the beer on draft at your favorite bars and restaurants also. We’ve already seen it at several of our favorite spots. Follow our Facebook Events Page to checkout some of the places it will be featured and join us in lifting one to life.

This has been an incredible launch to what we hope to be an ongoing partnership. We can’t thank you enough for making it possible and as always, lift one to life!
